Edgewood Orchard Galleries kicks off its 50th season with a group show celebrating the beauty of water. This exhibit will raise awareness and funds for a new initiative called Celebrate Water Door County. An opening day “Cinco de Mayo” celebration takes place May 5, 10 am to 5 pm. Chips, salsa, guacamole and cold cervezas will be offered to guests.
This group show is part of the year-long and county-wide celebration of water, which includes musical performances, art exhibits, documentaries, discussions and ideas to keep Door County’s water healthy. For more information about this initiative visit CelebrateWaterDoorCounty.org.
A book signing also will be held at the gallery May 5, 10 am – 3 pm, with Sue Steckart Jarosh, mother of gallery co-owner J.R. Jarosh. She recently published her second book, Range Lights Rascal. The book is part of a planned series of children’s books featuring historic Door County landmarks.
