Egg Harbor Installing Pervious Pavers for Parking Lots

The Village of Egg Harbor is taking more steps to ensure water quality as the board expands parking at the beach and park. The parking lots will be expanded with pervious pavers, allowing storm water to filter into the ground rather than pick up sediment as it rolls across the parking lot, then into the lake or ground.

The project will add 10 to 13 new parking spaces. Grant funds will offset much of the cost of the repaving projects and other spring improvements to village grounds.
