Emily Dickinson Poetry Series Features Scott Lowery

Milwaukee writer and educator Scott Lowery will make his first appearance at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County’s (UUFDC) Emily Dickinson Poetry Series on March 6.

Lowery will read from his new collection of poems, Mutual Life, which examines everyday life during tumultuous times – specifically, the past 8 years. These poems look for the vital connections that hold us together, even as community and personal ties are strained to the breaking point by pandemic anxiety, climate disasters and the politics of resentment.

The free 7 pm reading will be followed by a poetry open mic, a book signing and refreshments. 

The UUFDC is located at 10341 Water Street, Hwy 42 in Ephraim.
