Energize Your Summer With Swing, Jazz, Hip-Hop Classes

Kevin Delcason and Andria Nikoupolis Weliky of Emerald Lion Alchemy will lead a two-part Intro to East Coast Swing class at Studio234, 234 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, on Aug. 3 and 10, 7-9 pm. 

The sessions will include 90-minute lessons during which the instructors will teach the fundamentals of East Coast Swing, along with 30 minutes of open dance practice for this fun and energetic dance form. Participants will be able to practice their new steps to live music at Sturgeon Bay’s Martin Park on Aug. 17, 7-9 pm.

The cost for this class, intended for teens and adults, is $20 per person or $30 per couple.

Nikoupolis Weliky will also offer a four-week dance workshop called Jazz Hip-Hop Musical Mix, during which students, ages 8-12, will learn a fun, fresh piece of choreography set to a funky musical mix.
