  • AFT Announces 2015 Lineup

    American Folklore Theatre (AFT) has announced its 2015 musical comedy line up for the summer and fall seasons. AFT, which will be officially renamed Northern Sky Theater in January, will present three shows in repertory during the summer and one in the fall.

    The Peninsula Singers, joined by The Anderson Brass, will perform their 35th annual Christmas concerts at the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church on Dec.

    The Grammy-nominated bluegrass band The Special Consensus returns to Fish Creek on Dec. 10 at 8 pm to perform at the White Gull Inn. Formed in the Chicago area in 1975, The Special Consensus is a four-person acoustic bluegrass band with a repertoire that features traditional bluegrass standards, original compositions by band members and professional songwriters, and songs from other musical genres performed in the bluegrass format.

  • Triathlon Raises $100,000 for Partners

    Things did not look very promising after the first Door County Triathlon in 2005. “The first year, after all the bills were paid, there wasn’t even enough money left with the limited participation to pay me or the charities,” said Director Sean Ryan.
