A flat-picking extraordinaire from Memphis Tennessee, Eric Lewis is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed and recorded with some of the top Memphis artists including Jimbo Mathus and the Starlite Wranglers, Amy LaVere and the Perfect Gentlemen, Jimmy Davis, Tommy Burroughs and many others.
In 2003, Lewis received the Premier Player Award for Strings by the Memphis Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
Lewis has been recording since 1994. Most recently, he released Walk the Road with Me with frequent stage companion Tommy Borroughs; the album is a bluegrass, Americana compilation on which he plays guitar, mandolin, dobro, bass, and vocals. Lewis will be performing with Borroughs and others this summer throughout the county.
