Evening Reception at Cappaert Contemporary June 24

Cappaert Contemporary Gallery announces their annual evening reception on June 24, 4 – 7 pm. This year’s exhibit is a group show celebrating the talents of all the 40 artists represented at the gallery. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome.

Ginnie Cappaert opened the gallery in the Spring of 2015 in the former Dovetail Gallery space. The selectively curated gallery represents national and regional artists working in painting, clay, glass, sculpture, mixed media and are from Door County, Michigan and as far away as Santa Fe, N.M. The underlying connection of these artists is that they are all friends of artist/owner Cappaert. She is happy to share their amazing artwork with the Door County art scene.

Cappaert, has a working studio in the back gardens at the gallery. Often times she can be found there working on her abstracted landscape minimalist paintings.
