Drink This: Fall in a Cup

At CHOP in Sister Bay, a wide selection of top bourbon and scotch on the back bar shelves will pull you in – or scare you away. But for those without a strong palate, there’s also a drink that offers the spices of the season without the blast to the palate. Alyse Freeman’s Fall in a Cup cocktail is just that: the flavors of autumn in one tall, drinkable glass. 

You may not be quick to order cognac, but here it’s combined with Grand Marnier, cardamom, clove, lemon and apple cider. The only drawback is that it’s tough to have just one.
