Family Programs Offered at The Ridges

The Ridges Sanctuary is offering programs for inquisitive and adventurous families.

On July 23, the program Wet and Wild is from 2 – 3:30 pm. Wet feet are part of the fun in this search for diving beetles, small fish, whirligig beetles and damselfly larvae in a shallow pond.

Families can search for hidden treasure during the Boreal Forest Quest on July 30, from 2 – 3:30 pm. A quest uses maps, riddles and pictures to provide clues to the location of information and natural treasures within the Sanctuary. This activity is limited to 15.

Advance registration is required for both programs. Fees are $15 per family for Ridges members, and $20 per family for the general public.

Participants meet at the Ridges Marshall Cabin, located just off County Q in Baileys Harbor.
