Duke

This week the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus introduces Duke to readers. He is an 8-month-old bluetick coonhound/beagle and weighs about 35 lbs. He was surrendered Feb. 9 because his owner didn’t have enough time for him. He is great with other dogs, strangers and grew up with a toddler at home. He likes car rides, stuffed animals and sniffing everything out. Duke needs some more leash training but can do a few tricks like sit, shake, roll over and catch food off his nose after waiting for the cue. If interested in meeting Duke or filling out an application, please stop in during normal open hours.

Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus is located at 3475 County PD (across from Cherryland Airport) in Sturgeon Bay. The campus is open for adoptions 12-6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 12-4 pm Saturday. For more information call 920.746.1111.
