Final Chapter for BookNook Gardens

The BookNook Gardens’ board of directors has decided to dissolve the entity and thanks the community for its support during the past four years. 

BookNook Gardens has collaborated with the Door County Board and Door County Realtors Advocacy Group to purchase three benches along the Story Trail in Egg Harbor’s Murphy Park; worked with Write On, Door County to contribute a dozen story boards to the trails on its grounds; and shared funds with the local Wisconsin Bookworms group to purchase books to share with local children.

The group will gather once more in April for a storytime bench dedication in memory of board director Jan Luser, and local author Sue Jarosh will attend to read from her works. More details will be released later.
