Thanks from BookNook Gardens

My fellow BookNook Gardens board of directors members and I wanted to take a moment to reflect and thank all those who made our 2021 Top of the Kress fireworks-viewing event a huge success.

To all of the local businesses and individuals who contributed to our evening, thank you. We are so blessed to live in such a generous community! We received a lovely variety of donations for the silent auction, a delicious meal, and delightful sweet treats. We heard over and over again from our guests how much fun they were having as they enjoyed the evening’s events.  

Without our generous volunteers giving of their time and resources, we would not have been able to put on such an event. The attention to detail – from the decorations and setup to just being present wherever needed – were a huge help to make the evening run so smoothly.  

To our guests, thank you for coming out to celebrate your Fourth with us! We are thrilled that we were able to come together for a special night because we certainly missed you all in 2020.  

Much appreciation goes to the Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion staff for providing us with such a wonderful place to host this type of event during a busy summer holiday weekend. 

And to our families and friends who have been a constant source of support to us and the BookNook mission, we could not have done any of this – and would not be where we are today – without you.
