Fire & Ice Weekend Begins Feb. 15

Sturgeon Bay will host The Annual Fire & Ice Weekend, Feb. 15 – 17. The fun begins on Feb. 15 at 9 am when professional ice and snow carvers from around the nation will be joined by enthusiastic ice carving beginners to create icy works of art.

Event maps with block locations will be available at most businesses throughout the weekend or at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center office on 36 S. 3rd Avenue.

The sixteen finished sculptures are awarded cash prizes in three categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. The public is also invited to vote for People’s Choice Award.

The Fire & Ice Annual Dinner Dance, hosted by SBVC and Stone Harbor Resort, will take place Feb. 16. Little Vito and the Torpedoes will perform; a silent auction will take place. Reservations are required, for tickets call 800.301.6695 or 920.743.6246 or visit http://www.SturgeonBay.net.
