As part of the Defibs4DoorCounty campaign, which the Door County Fire Chiefs Association launched in February, new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) have been delivered. The initiative aims to increase access to AEDs throughout the county to help save lives.
The 29 defibrillators donated to the sheriff’s office, along with one donated to the police, are for placement in law-enforcement squad cars. Five units for the Department of Natural Resources are assigned to boats, a county truck and two Peninsula State Park squads.
