Fish Creek Postal Service Encourages Mailbox Improvements

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) asks all Fish Creek homeowners to inspect and repair their mailboxes during Mailbox Improvement Week, May 12-18. Repairing mailboxes improves the appearance of the community and makes delivering mail safer for carriers and more convenient for recipients.Homeowners may need to replace loose hinges on a mailbox’s door, repaint the mailbox, remount a loosened post or replace or add house numbers. Mailboxes that need replacing must be replaced with a USPS-approved box. If you have any questions, contact your local post office directly.
