“Five Friends” Exhibit at Glas

Pat Olson, Lynn Gilchrist, Mac Schueppert, Bethany Kirwen and Faith Frykman, five Sturgeon Bay artist friends, will display paintings at Glas Coffeehouse from Sept. 6 – 30.

An opening reception will be held on Sept. 10, 5:30 – 7 pm, and offers a chance to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

Olson is a nationally known artist of pastel, acrylic and oil still life paintings and whimsical Door County posters.

Gilchrist is an award-winning oil painter of intensely colored landscapes.

Schueppert is also an award-winning painter, and will display landscapes in pastels.

Kirwen, winner of Door County Maritime Museum’s 2009 “Paint the Bay,” will exhibit her recent pastel and mixed media paintings.

Frykman will display her new acrylic and oil pastel abstract paintings.

Glas is located at 67 East Maple Street in Sturgeon Bay (just south of the Maple-Oregon Bridge).
