‘Food, Stress and You’ Free Workshop Addresses Impact of Stress on Health

Feeling stressed? An upcoming workshop from the Door County Extension Office, called “Food, Stress and You,” may be able to help. Stress can cause physical symptoms such as headaches and interrupted sleep, and it can also greatly impact eating habits. During this workshop, learn more about how stress can impact your health and behaviors, explore healthier comfort food options, and participate in a mindful eating activity.

Tenley Koehler, Door County UW-Extension Family Living Educator, will present this program Oct. 25, 1 – 3 pm in the Peninsula Room of the Government Center at 421 Nebraska St., Sturgeon Bay.

Sponsored by the Door County Association for Home and Community Education (HCE), this program is free and open to the general public. Call the Door County Extension Office (920.746.2260) to register.
