FOPPI Cancels Some Events

The nonprofit Friends of Plum and Pilot Islands (FOPPI) has canceled all May work days and its annual sunset cruise fundraiser set for late July. Currently, FOPPI plans to host its annual meeting virtually on July 11, and it will decide in early June whether to host the picnic that accompanies the meeting. 

Other FOPPI events – including August work days, Explore Plum Island, overnight bat surveys and monarch tagging with Washington Island students – are on hold.
