Fragrant Isle Celebrates Sixth Anniversary With Special Events

In celebration of its sixth anniversary, Fragrant Isle on Washington Island presents a series of special events available to visitors in 2018.

Relax, unwind, and enjoy supreme indulgence during a lavender massage; a 30- or 60-minute massage is available.

Visitors can also try their hand at Door County Paint & Sip classes hosted by Jen Aldrich. Uncork your inner artist as you sip a favorite vintage. Aldrich teaches participants how to paint and finish an acrylic painting in just 1.5 hours. All materials are provided. Classes are $40 per person.

Back by popular demand, Fragrant Isle’s Roxanne delights the palate with a savory three-course gourmet meal. The menu is published one week prior to each dinner. Dinner is $50 per person.

Enjoy a night of Brazilian jazz from Antonio and Christine Salerno while dining from a Brazilian-themed farm-to-table buffet dinner. The cost is $50 per person.

Ann Marie Craig, artisan soap maker and lavender wand expert, stops by Fragrant Isle. She specializes in weaving with fresh lavender, cooking/baking with lavender, and using lavender throughout the home. Learn to make a lavender wand with Craig, all materials included. The cost is $12 per person.

Fragrant Isle wraps up July with “Lavender Days” July 20-21. The weekend brings performers Jeff Pockat on Friday and Paris Schutz on Saturday. While enjoying the music visitors can enjoy lavender wand making classes and lavender-infused drinks.
