Frog Walk at The Ridges

Early spring is mating season for frogs and toads, and the wetlands fill with peeping, trilling and quacking as the males seek out their sweethearts.

Join a Ridges naturalist for a Frog Walk on the noisy evening trails at The Ridges Sanctuary on May 9 at 7:30 pm to learn about the watery lifestyle of frogs. Wonder what kind of frog is singing in your back yard? Hikers will also learn frog call identification techniques. This program is suitable for all ages.

The program fees are $10 per adult for Ridges members, $13 per adult for non-members and $5 per child. Space is limited to 20 participants, and advance registration is required. To register, call 920.839.2802 or visit RidgesSanctuary.org. Hikers should meet at The Ridges Marshall Cabin, 8288 County Q, Baileys Harbor.
