Frykman Studio Gallery Debuts “2011 Collection”

The Frykman Studio Gallery of Sister Bay is holding a spring opening reception on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from 10 am – 6 pm. The event will feature the new “2011 Collection” by photographers Lucas and Heather Frykman.

Photographs include Door County landscapes in color and black and white. Scenic places in the photographs include Cave Point County Park, Peninsula State Park, and familiar landmarks throughout the peninsula like Cana Island Lighthouse and Ephraim’s Anderson Dock.

Also featured in the gallery are hand-carved woodcarvings and oil paintings by David Frykman and functional pottery and sculpture by Steve Jorgenson. The reception will include live acoustic folk music by singer/songwriter Jess Holland on Saturday from 4 – 6 pm. Attendees can meet with the artists, enjoy refreshments, and sign up for a drawing to win a carving and a framed photograph.
