Geiger Shares Farming Tales

The Door County Historical Society will welcome author Corey Geiger to discuss his book On a Wisconsin Family Farm: Historic Tales of Character, Community and Culture during its annual meeting Nov. 28. Geiger, an international agricultural journalist, blends his rural roots and lively storytelling talents to record tales about six generations of characters who built America’s Dairyland.

The Nov. 28 meeting and program will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. The meeting for Door County Historical Society members will begin at 5:15 pm; dinner catered by Scaturo’s will be served at 6 pm; and Geiger’s program will start at 7 pm.

The cost is $25 for society members and $30 for nonmembers. Register by the Nov. 21 deadline by calling 920.421.2332.
