George Sawyn Performs at Lost Moth Gallery

On June 11 at 7 pm, guitarist George Sawyn will be in concert at Lost Moth Gallery in Egg Harbor.

After 38 years as a professional guitarist in the Chicago area, George Sawyn relocated to Door County. Since he’s been here Sawyn has become known as one of Door County’s finest instrumentalists, and is well known for his versatility as a guitarist able to play jazz, country, folk and classical with passion and precision on classical, steel string and electric guitars. Sawyn is a phenomenal studio musician and has recorded with countless Door County and Midwest artists. Sawyn can play just about anything, but is very talented at composing instrumental pieces and has recorded a number of CDs of his original music and standards.

At Lost Moth Gallery he will perform mostly original pieces ranging from jazz to blues and rock and his arrangements of some of his favorite songs.

Jeanne Kuhns will sing two songs with Sawyn to open the second set. Treats will be provided, feel free to bring your own wine or beer. Tickets are $20.
