Gibraltar Hires Band, Pupil Services Directors

Gibraltar Area School board April 8 approved hiring Yvette Marshall as the new pupil services director, effective April 15, and Alexandrea Zwiefelhofer as the secondary band director starting in the 2024-25 school year. Marshall replaces Lisa Wing, who resigned in January, and Zwiefelhofer will replace Charles Eckhardt, who is retiring at the end of the school year. 

Zwiefelhofer is serving as the Ladysmith High School band director. Principal Jim DeBroux said interviewers including board members, administrators, instructors and music students were impressed with her answers. 

Marshall served in Coleman for six years as an administrator with duties including pupil services and curriculum-direction duties, and currently works in the early childhood department in the Green Bay Public Schools.
