Guest Glassmaker, Multi-Media Artist

Minneapolis-based artist Emily McBride will lead a special demonstration at Popelka Trenchard Glass Studio on April 5, 6-8 pm.

McBride has received national recognition as a glassmaker and multimedia artist. She currently serves as gallery coordinator for the Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts and has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

McBride was an artist-in-residence at the Museum of Glass and Pilchuck Glass School, both in Washington. Her next residency will be at the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek.

Popelka Trenchard Glass is located at 64 S. 2nd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.
