“Guideposts” Winner

Judy DuCharme, Ellison Bay author of The Cheesehead Devotional and Society of the L.A.M.B., has been one of 12 winners selected out of thousands by Guideposts Magazine to attend a training workshop in Rye, New York.

Guideposts holds a contest every two years in which entrants write a first person inspirational story. DuCharme wrote the story of her niece who spent the night in the ocean a few years ago and how God kept her safe and confident of survival. Winners were notified Aug. 20 and will attend a training workshop in October.

DuCharme will be at a book signing at Lighthouse Books in Green Bay on Oct. 11 from 1 – 3 pm. Her books will be available as well at the St. Paul Lutheran Craft and Vendor Fair in Manitowoc on Nov. 8, and online at Amazon and in Door County shops.
