Gutarist Sawyn to Play at Door Jam

Guitarist George Sawyn comes to The Door Jam’s stage for a one-man concert on Saturday, September 5 at 7 pm.

Sawyn, a Chicago musician who is quickly making a name for himself on the Door County music scene, brings a unique and versatile style to his performances. He will feature original guitar music from two of his CDs as well as the addition of jazz, light classical music, and a few of his favorite cover songs. He also will take the time to play requests.

Sawyn is a regular in Lost Mothra, a group that also features Jeanne Kuhns, Lynn Gudmundsen, and Patrick Palmer. He also recently performed with Adam Mackintosh at his Third Avenue Playhouse concert last month.
