Health Care Reform Update Oct. 24

Door County residents have an opportunity to hear more about the “Current Status of Health Care Reform.” The League of Women Voters of Door County (LWVDC) invites you to join them as Melanie Ramey, President, Wisconsin League of Women Voters, and Director, HOPE of Wisconsin (The Hospice Organization and Palliative Experts of Wisconsin) provides an update for anyone with an interest in the current status of the Health Care Reform bills in Congress. A panel of Door County agency representatives will discuss their individual agencies and the needs of their clients related to health care reform.

The program will take place Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Paul J. Bertschinger Community Center, 7860 Highway 42, Egg Harbor. Registration will take place and refreshments served at 9:30 AM. The program will begin at 10 am and conclude by 11:30 am. Pre-registration is not required, but would be appreciated for preparation of handouts.
