HELP of Door County’s Private Reserve

On Monday June 23, HELP of Door County will host its second annual Private Reserve Wine Tasting Benefit at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor. The wine tasting has become HELP’s primary fundraising event, featuring eight wine wholesalers pouring over 60 different wines.

At the helm of the event is Honorary Chairman Arvid Munson, long time HELP supporter and local wine guru, who brought the idea of a wine tasting benefit to HELP after attending a similar charitable event in Madison. Having conducted a series of wine tasting seminars through the Clearing and other private tasting events, Munson was sure there was enough interest in the area to host a benefit, and after last year’s successful event, Munson was proven correct.

With the assistance of Main Street Market and Caryn Northrup, this year’s event will have a larger number of vendors and bottles to taste. Featuring hors d’oeuvres donated by local restaurants, a silent auction, cork raffle, along with an impressive variety of vintages to sample, this is one party not to miss!

The event runs from 5 – 8 pm and is open to all, with the $60 tickets available for purchase at Main Street Market in Egg Harbor, Madison Avenue Wine Shop in Sturgeon Bay, or through the HELP of Door County office at 920.743.8785.
