Helping Students Register to Vote

This fall members of the League of Women Voters of Door County will be at each Door County high school and NWTC to distribute voter registration forms and stamped envelopes addressed to an appropriate town or village clerk and to answer any questions about voter forms and the overall process. They will assist students who will turn 18 on or before the Nov. 4 Election Day as well as students who have moved since the last election but will reside at their current address for at least 28 days by Election Day. Anyone needing to register to vote is also welcome to stop by and complete a mail-in voter registration form. Completed forms and a copy of proof of residence can be mailed from each high school office in their outgoing mail; a copy of the ID/proof of residence can be made at the high school.
