High Schoolers Compete in “Sing, Door County”

Seven high school students from across the peninsula will compete in Sing, Door County, a live singing competition held at the Southern Door Community Auditorium on April 20, 7 pm.

During the competition, students will have their vocal performance critiqued and scored by four judges and the audience. The first-place winner will receive $1,500, the second-place winner $500.

The first round of the competition was held in January, when seven finalists were selected to advance to the next level of competition. Those finalists include Gibraltar senior Bekka Porter; Sevastopol seniors Merrick Mann and Bea Dramm; Sturgeon Bay junior Justin Gutierrez; Sturgeon Bay sophomore Ashlynn Keel; and Southern Door seniors Noah Rass and Maryann Alrand.
