Idea Gallery Offers Jeff Boutin Painting Class

Idea Gallery offers a painting class with master palette knife painter Jeff Boutin, June 23 from 12 – 4 pm on the gallery grounds. Boutin is known for his colorful, impasto technique. The gallery showcases his luminous, birch tree landscapes painted semi-abstractly. The class will focus on palette knife painting techniques.

“Every artist should endeavor to create their own sense of style. Impression-expression defines mine. Lots of color, heavy texture; pushing the boundaries of abstraction,” said Boutin.
