Identity Theft Prevention Program

Baylake Bank Premier Club, Door County YMCA and Ministry Door County Medical Center invite the public to an informational program on “Identity Theft and Scams” at the Sturgeon Bay YMCA on Sept. 10 from 9:50 – 10:50 am.

Dennis McIntosh, security officer for Baylake Bank, will be the presenter. Before joining Baylake Bank, McIntosh completed 32 years of full time civilian law enforcement experience, with three different agencies, including two positions as chief of police. Discussion will detail how identity theft continues to grow and devastates citizen’s lives throughout the United States. McIntosh will emphasize ways for individuals to defend themselves against and deter identity theft. Identity theft and scams is the number one crime reported to the Wisconsin Consumer Complaint Office in Madison, Wisconsin each year.
