Indivisible Door County Takes Part in ‘Send Trump A Postcard’ Event

On March 15, members of “Indivisible” in Door County are joining with other groups across the country to send postcards to President Donald Trump (Indivisible.us). This “Send Trump A Postcard Event” will meet in the parking lot behind the Sister Bay Post Office at 10 am. The group will march to mail postcards expressing concern about the intent to repeal the Affordable Care Act, to deport immigrants and denigrate Muslims, and about Trump not releasing his income tax returns or clarify his business and political ties to the Russian government. Indivisible Northern Door County, Indivisible Central Door County, and Indivisible Door County are part of a national movement that began in the last few weeks.

The groups are made up of resident volunteers who are concerned about our country’s future and are working to get our elected representatives to listen to all constituents by routinely calling and writing to members of Congress.
