Introductory Ballroom Lessons Offered through Rogue Theater

Salsa and Latin Dance Instructor Jeffrey Robison (J-Ro)

Regional ballroom, salsa and Latin dance instructor Jeffrey Robison (J-Ro) will teach dance lessons at Rogue Theater, 340 Jaycee Ct. in Sturgeon Bay. J-Ro will teach new group, private, wedding and performance team dance classes, as well as coordinating social dance nights providing a variety of dance opportunities for the community.

On Mondays, J-Ro is offering Introductory Ballroom Lessons at 7 pm. The first one is set for Feb. 22 and features the waltz. The lesson will be 50 minutes long. No partner required. The cost is $10/person and can be paid at each lesson. The following are remaining dates and styles: Feb. 29 – Cha Cha; March 7 – Foxtrot; March 14 – Rumba; and March 21 – East Coast Swing.

Tuesday nights he will offer a 101 series, with the first series being Salsa 101. The series will begin when with first 10 people enroll. No partner required and the total cost for the series is $55/person. Payment made at series sign-up. J-Ro’s lessons focus on the technical aspects of each dance, but also on feeling comfortable on the dance floor and having fun.
