Jacksonport Lake to Lake Run Coming Memorial Day Weekend

Continuing the traditional fun of the Jacksonport Maifest run, the annual run/walk will be held this year with a new name: the Jacksonport Lake to Lake 10K and two-mile run/walk. 

For more than 35 years, Memorial Day weekend has been the time for a fun family race that also brings the community together. This year, the Jacksonport Lake to Lake race will be held Saturday, May 29, 9 am, at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport. 

The 10K travels along Highway 57, shifts onto Lake Shore Road, continues to the waters of Clark Lake and returns along North Cave Point Drive. The two-mile route is an out-and-back along Highway 57 and Lake Shore Road. Both races will start and finish at Lakeside Park. 

Race shirts are guaranteed to all runners who register by May 10, and they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the race.  

All proceeds support the Jacksonport Fire Department, and participants are encouraged to meet and get to know the fire department and volunteers.
