Johnson Competes in International Tourney

Ian Johnson of Sister Bay (top row, 6th from the left) competed as a guest player with the U19 Yukon Strikers from Canada July12 – 17 in the Puma Elite Division at the Schwan’s USA Cup Week Long International Soccer Tournament in Blaine, MN.

The team advanced to the semi-finals in the largest international youth soccer tournament held in the U.S. Playing U19 teams from Sweden, Mexico and other Midwestern Clubs, the team compiled a 3-2 record. Johnson scored one goal and had four assists during the tournament.
