Kim Manning Rocks The Holiday Music Motel

Having just completed an extensive European tour as a background singer with the legendary George Clinton and Parliment Funkadelic, Kim Manning has once again returned to Sturgeon Bay, this time to spend a week writing and recording with mix-master Billy Triplett at The Holiday Music Motel.

This LA-based performer has quickly become one of Door County’s favorite returning artists. First brought to Sturgeon Bay in 2007 by way of invitation to participate in Steel Bridge SongFest, she has since become a dedicated performer at both Steel Bridge and its offshoot, ‘Dark Songs,’ both of which are hosted by The Holiday Music Motel. Her undeniable talent, down-to-earth affable personality, engaging stage presence and unique fashion sense have made her a favorite on the scene.

On Dec. 21 at 7 pm, Manning will perform in a special house concert at The Holiday Music Motel featuring songs from her upcoming release, Good People, and material written and recorded at the motel in the week preceding.

The Holiday Music Motel is located at 30 N 1st Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. Tickets for the show are $10 each and can be purchased online at http://www.holidaymusicmotel.com/tickets or by calling 920.743.5571. A pre-concert reception will be held in the lobby at 6:30 pm where guests can settle in and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, cider and snacks (beer and malt beverages are also available for purchase).
