Landscapes Take Center Stage at Plum Bottom

Plum Bottom Gallery’s location at 4999 Plum Bottom Road in Egg Harbor will host a show of landscapes by three artists Oct. 2, 10 am – 5 pm. Artist talks will begin at 2 pm.

Sara Vanderkleed has a love of barns, mark making and combining shapes and subtle colors in dynamic compositions. The rural fields and outbuildings that surround her Indiana studio inspire her.

For Mark Pflughoeft, art doesn’t feel like an intellectual activity; it feels emotional and spiritual. He uses bright colors and strong focal points in his abstract works to let the mind wander and make sense of a complex world through balanced color and form. 

Digital artist Carol Pflughoeft combines her passions for photography and making original fractal images to create unusual imagery through a process that involves multiple layers of images, fractals and color.
