Learn About Health Benefits of Herbal Tea

Join the Climate Change Coalition of Door County on Nov. 13, 4-6 pm, for Herbal Tea Time, an unusual experience of teas brewed from beneficial herbs that thrive in Door County. Herbalist, pharmacist and host Dave LaLuzerne will share the health benefits of local plants and how to put them to use.

Enjoy wild oregano, hibiscus/ horsetail, lemon balm, chicory root/chocolate mint and wild sarsaparilla teas, all accompanied by herbal hors d’oeuvres. Juniper gin and tonic and dandelion wine will add extra zest to the festivities!

Herbal Tea Time, to be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is a fundraiser for the Climate Change Coalition. The cost is $25 per person, and the event is limited to 30 guests. Reserve a spot with Nicole Matson at [email protected] or 715.330.4660.
