Letter to the Editor: The Ephraim Business Council’s Stance on Selling Beer and Wine

The Ephraim Business Council (EBC) recently completed a survey of its members addressing the interest of allowing the sale of beer and wine in Ephraim. In total, 73 of the 100 EBC members participated in the survey and from those 74.65 percent believe that the sale of beer and wine in Ephraim should be allowed. An additional 11.27 percent agree that it should be allowed but with restrictions. The remaining 14.08 percent believe that it should not be allowed. Before voting on April 5, the Ephraim Business Council Board of Directors asks the public to consider the results of this survey and how the referendum outcome will affect the business community of Ephraim.
