Letter to the Editor: A Plea to the Democratic Party of Door County

I salute the Door County Democrats who’ve taken part in the risk-management workshops at Thumbs Up Across America. Together, we’ve identified the vandals who’ve stolen and cut up Trump signs during this campaign. Together, we’ve proven there’s no honor among the vocal minority, which has commandeered the party to which I once belonged.

The Democratic Party of today is not the party of JFK that told us, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.” Nor is it the party of Truman and FDR, who led us through WWII and out of the Great Depression.

The vocal minority, which has commandeered the Democratic Party of today, kneels during the Pledge of Allegiance, demands a minimum wage to work and a free education to go to school. They protest for the taxpayer funding of abortions, open borders and sanctuary cities; condone selling guns to Mexican drug lords and laundering billions to Iran while terrorists behead our soldiers and chant “Death to America.”

If their signs saying “Vote for Trust, Justice and Peace – Vote for Biden” and their billboard saying “We’re the Party of Integrity” represented the party that used to be, we’d all be on board. But they do not!

Vote as you choose – that’s your God-given right. But before you vote, check us out at Thumbs Up Across America. Join our Delta Force. You’ll be glad you did!
