Letter to the Editor: Fire the Apprentice!

The definition of an apprentice is: 1. One bound by legal agreement to work for another for a specific amount of time in return for instruction in a trade, art or business; 2. Any beginner or learner.

Donald Trump needs to be fired. He took an oath on the day of his inauguration to uphold the U.S. Constitution. He has done everything but uphold the Constitution. He is a threat to our national security. He is a failure!

The U.S. Postal Service is set in our Constitution to serve the American people. How does defunding and tearing apart the postal service make America great again?

Donald Trump does not care about anybody but himself. He is risking the U.S. democracy to gain as much as he can for his own corporation. He has surrounded himself with criminals, many who are in prison, and he is being investigated for criminal behavior prior to getting into the White House.

We need a president who cares about all Americans and has empathy for the thousands of people who have lost loved ones during this pandemic. In order to regain our “normal” way of life, we have to first control the COVID-19 virus throughout the country, not piecemeal.
