Letter to the Editor: Tammy Who?

Would it be fair to ask “Tammy who?” Signs or posters, some as large as a 4×4 sheet, have popped up in front yards in recent weeks with a face and the word Tammy printed on them. Could they be to help identify Wisconsin’s junior Senator who was sent to Washington in 2012 and who has been accused in frequent TV political ads of missing as many as 100 meetings of Senate sub-committees? The taxpayers will have paid the junior Senator $1,044,000 by the time her term is finished so let’s hope that she has spent her time in Washington helping Wisconsin make progress rather than making posters that are a distraction to drivers on our tourist-choked roadways.
