Linda Brown Exhibits Acrylics at UUF

Linda Brown of Evanston, Illinois, will exhibit her acrylic paintings at the UU Gallery throughout October. The public is invited to an opening reception on Oct. 6 from 12 – 2 pm.

Brown says that she “emphasizes allusions in nature, water, and Midwestern seasons, telling a visual story about life and the outdoors.” Brown uses bold and light colors to capture fleeting moments in nature, landscapes and the joy of life; she specializes in acrylics because they allow her freedom of brush strokes and texture.
