Local Musicians Performs at Joe Jo’s of Door County

Good food and great music will provide a respite from the winter weather when Katie Dahl and Rich Higdon take the stage at Joe Jo’s Pizza and Gelato on Friday, December 12.

Door County audiences will recognize Katie Dahl from several years of performances with Door Shakespeare and occasional appearances at American Folklore Theatre’s Afterglow concerts. She has also performed at other venues in Door County and across the country, including the Twin Cities and Austin, Texas. Rich Higdon, a founding member of the Sheboygan-based Water Street Hot Shots and a favorite on the Door County music scene will join Dahl on percussion and upright bass.

From 7 – 9 pm, Dahl and Higdon will perform a variety of songs from her acoustic folk repertoire, including songs written by Dahl and others, as well as a few songs in honor of the holiday season. There is a $6 cover charge and a full menu of pizza and gelato available.
