Local Students Earn Herb Kohl Awards

Three Sturgeon Bay High School students were among 187 graduating Wisconsin high school students selected for Student Excellence and Initiative Scholarships of $10,000 from the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation this spring. No other Door County students received the scholarships.

Ezra Linnan and Natalia Michalski both received Student Excellence Awards, and Cassandra Rankin received one of the Initiative Scholarships. 

The awards go to 187 graduating high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence and initiative and have displayed a broad range of activity and leadership in their community.
