Mark Dwyer to Speak about Better Ways to Garden

Mark Dwyer, director of horticulture at Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville, will present a free public program on April 23, 7 pm, in the Collins Learning Center of Crossroads at Big Creek. It’s part of the Door County Master Gardeners Association’s lecture series.

Dwyer will discuss some common mistakes we make in our landscapes, how to avoid them and how to find better ways of gardening. He’ll sprinkle in lots of colorful plants to remind us of the coming spring.

Dwyer has been in his position for 20 years, directing the maintenance and continuing improvement of the 20-acre botanical gardens with the help of talented grounds staff and many dedicated volunteers.
