Martinez Studio Marks 25 Years with Fiesta

Martinez Studio is celebrating 25 years in Jacksonport with a fiesta on July 6, 3-7 pm. Attend to celebrate the reach and growth that Martinez patrons have fostered, and enjoy Wence’s mama’s Oaxacan tacos, libations and plenty of hugs.

Since the last fiesta five years ago, the studio has achieved many things: two PBS profiles; a solo show at the Museum of Wisconsin Art; weavings entered into the permanent collections at the Smithsonian, National Museum of Mexican Art, Museum of Wisconsin Art and Miller Art Museum; being finalists for the American Craft Council’s Rare Craft Fellowship; lectures at the American Craft Council; and more.
