MDCMC Presents “Music in the Gardens” Concert Series

The Hunts

Ministry Door County Medical Center announces a stellar line-up of musical diversity for the whole family on Tuesday evenings in July. Four free concerts will be performed on the hospital’s green space on 16th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay (next to the Community Garden).

On July 9, The Hunts (with sold-out shows across the U.S) are an indie-folk band from the southlands of Chesapeake, Virginia. These seven brothers and sisters have a passion for creating compelling music and collaborate on writing, composing and musicianship.

On July 16, Mike Mangione & The Union is a national touring group that combines a folk-rock sound with an orchestrated string section, soulful vocals and literate sensibility. Mike is the son of the great “Chuck” Mangione.

On July 23, 100% Natural will perform the best of gospel and Mo-Town music. This famous acapella group played at the Peg Egan PAC in Egg Harbor in 2010 to an audience of 1,500.

The last concert of the season is scheduled for July 30 with Corky Siegel, Dorothy Scott and Sue Demel. They’ll perform a variety of blues, jazz, alternative and world music.
